I had one crazy ass Algebra 2 teacher who was also my receiver and track coach.  In addition to working in the education profession he was also Army Reservist.  I was a class clown, but when I came in his class room, all bull got pushed aside. I thought this guy was clinically insane because he would always say “I give them enough rope to hang themselves”.  When you hear shit like at the tender age of 15, it sticks with you

BOSTON MEDIA

For all of you who do not know, Boston and Houston has a war of words transpiring via radio and social media mainly Twitter.  It’s the divisional round of the playoffs and cities are having fun. Most logical Houston fans know Boston has the pedigree, we are not delusional it’s fun, it’s smack talk.  If Boston’s media is going to get on air and called Chester Pitts, Chester Hicks, make fun of the Texans Drawl and have Dan Shaughnessy own saying he’s not voting for Biggio or Bagwell then we have left the realm of Houston Texans and now we are into other stuff.

Basically, Boston Media has been crushing Houston and our media for four solid days.

JOSH INNES HAS THE ROPE

Josh and I are cool; we converse and typically shoot real talk.  I will not make a Pre Amble out of this, I totally understand Josh stance on the Texans.  Josh feels the Texans will lose, OK.   It’s simple Josh, crush Boston Media the way you crush Houston’s Media .  What’s really the barometer Josh?  Let’s just say you are the best in Houston, you take pride in being the best in a "crop of crap" in Houston?

But let’s not kid ourselves, Josh sounded pissed off the last couple days and I am not sure if it’s the Acid Reflux or Gavin Spittle getting in his ass about show elements, but nevertheless he delivered this Epic Meltdown.

WRAP IT UP

Tuesday, Josh and Rich made references during their show about Gavin Spittle being upset with Boston's behavior.  This peaked my interest therefore I reached out to Gavin and he responded with the following.

I have a unique perspective because I grew up in Massachusetts. It’s nothing personal, I just take a lot of pride in Texas. Houston is such a multi-cultural city with so many amazing aspects. You can go after the team but not the people of Houston. Why take shots? There is a reason that so many people are moving to Houston and Texas. Every city will have its great points and bad points. Boston has amazing sports tradition and they should be proud of it. I’m not going to bag on them in any way. There just seems to be a different attitude as a Boston sports fan than when I grew up.

I'm not be a hypocrite,  I am that fan that will take shot jabs at city, hey I'm a fan.   In the end (game outcome), I like to think I'm a cool customer however I will not allow another media market to take a shot at Houston and go unchecked.  I like to thank Galvin Spittle for providing a statement and I'm glad he was feeling what so many of us Houstonians were feeling all this week.

Oh so Josh and Rich will call them before next season's game IF and ONLY IF the Texans win this Sunday. Real weak ass shit. It aint about the merits of the Texans. It's about respecting the city you in. I definitely am seeing the guy in a different light. I'm not sure why we would think that they should give a damn about the city they didn't grow up here. When they hear people pissing on Houston there is no emotional component for them like there is with us.

I would say that Josh is the biggest pile of crap in Houston sports talk radio. He doesn't really do sports though.
