MATT SCHAUB 3rd AND 5 THROW AWAY - LM

WHEN I STOP BEING A MATT SCHAUB FAN

I watched the game Sunday (Texans vs Patriots) like every Houstonian.  When the clock struck 0:00, I was pissed at Matt Schaub evading a sack, only to fumble it with no one near him.

Low and behold I listened to the fan reaction from Sports Talk and there was another play that was even worse committed by Schaub.  Immediately, I went back to watch the lay and yes that was a "WEAK" move.

I was a big time Matt Schaub supporter/fan but after the fumble and the throw away, I lost it.  The best way I can describe how I felt at those moments were like Phil Leotardo seeing Johnny Sacks cry at his daughter's funeral in Season 6 of the Sopranos.  It was freaking unbelievable and you can view for yourself below.  Click PLAY

With all my articles, I have to employ the local media element.  What can I say?  I will not blanket all of local media but just about every show said "this will not become a bash Schaub" show.  That's really noble of our "swell" media but where was this when it came to Tracy McGrady, Carlos Lee, Jacoby Jones, Mario Williams, David Carr, or Sage Rosenfels?

Bottom Line, Matt Schaub can get it just like the rest of these guys and we don't need "show disclaimers" to take it easy on him.  What a joke.

Just sucks. I got nothing else to say. That play says it all about the guy.

He gives up on plays all the time. I Deedee no sense of urgency with this offense. Last drive of the game they're throwing ten passes with the clock winding down ...just content to lose.
