AS LONG AS YOU SPELL MY NAME RIGHT! BY LM

AS LONG AS YOU SPELL MY NAME RIGHT!

It's amazing I mean it's really amazing.  I have been with HMW since its inception (boy was I raw) and I observed a few things along the way.  For those who do not know, Houston Media Watch's Founder (Craig Shelton_ and myself go back a long ways, relationships that predate Sports Talk Radio.

When Craig first pitched HMW to me, I was like, "Cool, if you swing once, I'll swing twice".  In addition to pitching HMW, Craig also told me, "these guys are not like us".

It really amazes me that so many men have "female" tendencies.  I have been listening to Houston Sports Talk Radio for 10 years.  Daily, I heard/hear Radio Personalities blast professional players.  That's what they do, its their job to critique and please don't let ESPN give them the "thumbs up" to blast a player because then it becomes "70s style porn".   No one in this market can tell me otherwise because I have participated with you in blasting players.  That's it, everyone in this market has blasted a player, coach, team, executive.

Along comes HMW, we talk about the media and their "vaginas" get bruised.  For the most part these guy's careers are centered around blasting Pros but they get salty when someone disagrees with them.  But here is the kicker, the local media will say "I don't care if you disagree with me as long as you spell my name right".  Come on man, really? In five years of HMW existence, there are a few locally that actually lived up to disagreeing and debating, the rest are so damn embarrassed because they hate looking dumb amongst their peers locally.

Stop acting like girls but the central question remains, how can local media rip sports professionals daily then get pissy when someone rips them or disagree with their takes?

THESE GUYS ARE NOT LIKE US

Earlier, I mentioned that Craig told me "these guys are not like us". In simple terms, the way most men handle their business with conflict or adversity, the guys we cover are slightly different.  They think gambling and strip clubs is "hood", we think hood is hood.  They talk about "hot" women they wish they could get, we don't get moist over seeing an attractive woman.  First time someone challenges them, they eject, we will engage the argument and still be cool afterwards.  Bottom line, the guys we cover come are from a different background and some of their ways are annoying.

I hear these guys welcome debate and the minute debated, they act like bitches.  I just never seen a collection of so many sensitive men.

For now on, close your hole and stop acting like you are hard by saying "Spell My Name Right".  Local media can't handle criticism.
