LANCE ZIERLEIN'S MARIO WILLIAMS RANT HAS HOLES

When you listen to Lance Zierlein, it's important to realize when he has on his "football analyst" or "fan" hat. This morning, Lance had on his fan hat.

In this audio, Lance basically appeased a lot of Houston Texan fans by confirming what many have speculated and argued.  Adam Clanton brought up Mario Williams' foot injury and he was dead on about Mario's reported and year of injury.  Adam's mention of Mario caused Lance to go off.  What's odd about this audio, after Lance buried the speculation, he had to ask Adam, when did you hear about Mario's plantar fasciitis injury.  From the outside looking in, I would think if you spoke this passionately about a topic, you would have your facts laid out.

LANCE'S MARIO WILLIAMS RANT

FOOTBALL POINTS:

In that same rant, Lance knocked the old regime in their handling of Mario Williams (which I really think Lance's overall rant was) while praising the current regime's handling of JD Clowney.  If Lance's main gripe, is the Kubiak Regime moving Mario around as a Rookie, how can he praise the O'Brien regime when they are are also moving Clowney around.  I know players are different therefore receive information and excel differently but Lance's point was, you don't move rookies around, that's for two and three year players.

WRAP IT UP

As I said, Lance's rant was good for listeners like myself who do not care for Mario Williams.  That said, if you listen to the rant, it was definitely from a Fan's POV with holes.

If a fan called a show, a football Xs and Os host, they would pick apart that rant.

On Mario's foot injury his rookie year, It felt felt like Adam Clanton thought it was common knowledge and everyone remembered which I agree with.
