Sr Producer of NFL Films Greg Cosell joined In The Loop to discuss the draft. As the interview was wrapping up, Nick Wright asked Greg about an article he wrote comparing Cam Newton to Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas.
Poor Greg because he don't know Nick was obviously going for the race angle. The race angle being "you are only comparing them because they are black". Nevertheless, I was pretty surprised Greg didn't take the bait and debated on football. Although I shouldn't have been surprised being that Greg has been looking at football almost as long as I've been alive. Was pretty shocked Nick would come at Greg like that. If I was Greg, I would be insulted because you are challenging my years of experience with a juvenile take.

TALKING SMACK AFTER GREG LEAVES
One of things I hate about our Local Media, often with guest and callers, they talk smack or crush people after they are not there to defend themselves. When you had the chance to do it on the line, you didn't. Basically, John Lopez and Nick crushed some of Greg's take the following segment when he was not there to defend himself. Is it cool for hosts to crush guests after they leave?
That said, John Lopez is the gift that keeps on giving. Greg made the comment earlier, Cam Newton broke all of the NFL rookie records. The following said, John said Oh and Johnny Manziel broke all of the records, I guess in a way to say, Greg was wrong. LMAO, come on man. GREG was talking about NFL Records not college.
