THursday, Houston Chronicle's John McClain joined Mad Radio (Seth Payne & Mike Meltser). The first topic, Arian Foster's treatment of local media. if you are keeping score

Arain Foster is completely abusing this market and they don't even get what he's doing. H's giving the media the same generic crap that they usually ask. Garbage In Garbage Out (GIGO). I love the way, "THE FANS" is their safety blanket. According to the media, Arian Foster should talk because of the fans. Media Members in town are regurgitating the phrase "Media is the Conduit".
All of these hosts will tell you "I don't care how Arian Foster treats me or the media but it's the fans, I care about". That's HOGWASH, their feelings are hurt because Arian will not talk to them like they want him to talk to them.
That said, John McClain "THE SNITCH" may have taken the cake. John McClain was on MaD Radio and talked about him reporting Arian Foster to the NFL. OH YEA BOY, Im going to make you talk.
As far as all of McClain friends and colleagues trying to take up for Print Media, it's tired. Not to mention this sudden love-fest of ESPN'S Tania Ganguli. The's guys are so hungry for shine, they will ride the most generic personality in Houston. It took me a while to understand why everyone is is acting like Tania is the truth but then it hit me, ESPN. All of these people who's suddenly praising her were crushing her when she was with the Houston Chronicle.

I really hope John McClain don't make a habit out of telling on people. It really looks bad. What's even more odd, the way he casually discussed like "no big deal". Where is the town going in sports when Beatwriters are snitching out High Profile Players.

Fans don't care NOW. But if he gets off to a crappy start fans will be down on him and even criticize how he treats the media. And please, he's acting liking a child. Nothing clever in his lame answers. He just looks like a fool.
