Over the last three years or so, I've started watching games on mute. Some of the information these TV Play by Play Commentators and Color Analysts is so bad, it's not worth listening to. In a standard 60 minute game, I catch at most 15 minutes of audio.
Last week it was Texans Spencer Tillman saying the Texans were known for turnovers in 2016. This week Craig Shelton heard Redskins TV broadcast (Charlie Casserly and Joe Theismann) team thinking Former Texan, Cardinal DJ Swearinger went undrafted
Everyone makes mistakes, but not to know DJ Swearinger was a high profile draft pick is bad. DJ Swearinger may not be a household name but his release from the Texans made National News because it was talked about in association (dog incident) with DJ Clowney.
At the end of the day, most of these guys we "trust" for information are only as good as a producer or someone in their mics.

Y'all won't believe this conversation about DJ Swearinger. This is unforgivable to say about a 2nd round pick.@sportsmediaLM @swanlakelibra pic.twitter.com/TyBZxYgqNy— Lesbo Supremacist (@1DeepMedia) August 20, 2017
