Can Arian Foster fairly interview Bob McNair?

Written By: Lamont

Arian Foster is making his mark on the Houston Airwaves. He has interviewed Scarface, Duane Brown, Snoop Dogg and Andre Johnson.

I love the podcast because the environment appears relaxed.  I believe the relaxed environment lends itself for people to say some weird shit.

Last week, after Bob McNairs "sorry not sorry" moment, Arian invited McNair for an interview

Based upon the strength of his prior interviews, I was like "Fuck yea".  Later, I listened to Arian's podcast with Andre Johnson.

During the interview, the topic about the ring ceremony came up.  Arian said he didn't come because he couldn't look at the guy and he didn't want to shake his hand.  A few people tried to tell me that was Arian's feelings back then and initially I thought "fair comment".  But then I thought about the Arian I know publicly; If you feel that Arian has changed a new leaf and allowed shit to go, you are mistaken.

I think Arian is more than capable of conducting a professional interview but if I already know "you feel some kind of way" about your guest, it changes the way I will receive it.

Although I would love for McNair to be on Arian's podcast, the reality is, media vultures would grab at least four or five quotes and headline them.  If I was Bob's Public Relations, I would seriously think about this.

As far as Arian, if you are trying to lock down a huge fish in Bob McNair in this social climate, you may want to play it close to the vest.

Texans Locker Room Incident Goes Unreported by Jermaine Every

Texans Locker Room Incident Goes Unreported
By: Jermaine Every

I spoke to a well-placed source that informed me of an incident in the Texans locker room yesterday that went unreported by the media. Arian Foster was at his locker when media availability time came after practice. As the huddle gathered around him, he proceeded to play on his cell phone. After a few minutes, he then turned his phone around to capture video of the media huddle asking, “Ain’t this weird?” While the same members of the huddle answered “No” he proceeded to ask and video them. This went on for a few moments, and eventually they all left. Finding this funny that nobody decided to report this incident, especially considering the way some media members roasted Foster for his “teammate” rant earlier in training camp. In the words of Arsenio Hall: Things that make you go “Hmmmm?”

RICH LORD CALLS ARIAN FOSTER AN "A HOLE" BY LM

RICH LORD CALLS ARIAN FOSTER AN "A HOLE"
Written By: LM
8.21.2014

Thursday, Sports Radio 610 Afternoon Drive's Triple Threat talked Arian Fosters interview in Denver.

Rich Lord called Arian Foster an A Hole (asshole).  I am over the media bitching about Arian's behavior, they are collectively feminine but Rich Lord got personal.

I warned everyone, after Rich Lord was replaced as the Texans Sideline Reporter by John Harris, his takes would change.  Nearly 7 or 8 years I witnessed Rich Lord bootlicking the Texans.  Now, all of a sudden, we are hearing a more vocal Rich towards the Texans.  I will venture to say, some of Josh Innes and Rich Lord's epic fights was because of Rich's Texans Brown Nosing.

In the audio, you will hear Rich will mention Robert Hensley (610 Employee/Sports Director) pissed about his interaction with Arian.  I can understand media people at practice working to get sound being upset but I don't understand some guy in an air conditioned studio that much rather be in a Lazy Boy Chair in Sugar Land displaying fake anger.  Listening to Rich go in on Arian Foster, you would think he actually cared.

It's laughable to hear Rich Lord have a take about Arian Foster or any Texan Player at practice.  Rich Lord is the absolute last person in the Houston Media Market I need to hear blast a Professional Player.  Let me put this in perspective, Sports Radio 610 is located on 59 and Weslayan, 19th Floor Greenway Plaza.  The Triple Threat, runs from 2-7p, I honestly believe, by 7:01pm, Rich is already at 59s/Beltway 8.  Rich Lord is the absolute laziest host in Houston.  Rich Lord's sports analysis is a joke, and most who actually follow sports, think he's full of it.

As far as the media and fans in general that have a problem with Arian's responses, grow up.  If you know the dude don't want to talk, move around, but the media is slick, Arian snubbing media is now the story.  Therefore, the media will go to him even more and complain.

Sean Pendergast alluded to media's job in terms of out there getting audio.   In the meeting, is the media supervisor telling foot soldiers "Ignore everyone else at practice and talk to Arian who's not giving you anything". Yes, yes that's exactly what's going on,  Arian Snubbing the Local Media has become their little story-line.

I can read the stitches on the fast ball.  Below is the audio of Rich Lord calling Arian Foster an AHOLE.

In this Audio, you will hear Rich Lord calling National Personality Mike Francesa a "blow-hard".  Jokingly, Sean called Rich Lord, the Mike Francesa of Houston. Rich Lord told Sean not to say that because Houston may begin not liking him. Are you kidding me?

FORMER PATRIOT TED JOHNSON APOLOGIZES TO ARIAN FOSTER

FORMER PATRIOT TED JOHNSON APOLOGIZES TO ARIAN FOSTER
Written By: LM
8.2.2014

What a wild week.  Unless you have been living under a rock, Houston Texans RB Arian Foster and some in Local  Media have been jabbing at each other.

At the zenith of their exchanges, Arian Foster talked to the media and repeated the same response.

Ted did not care for Arian's exchange and voiced it on his show Sports Radio 610 Triple Threat.

The following day (Friday), Ted reflected on his comments and had a change of mind. Below is his apology for his delivery.

TED'S APOLOGY

ARIAN FOSTER DEUCHEBAG SONG

Although Ted apologized what I heard earlier was silly.  In The Loop and Mad radio played a song one of their interns created about Arian.  At first I thought it was a listener who submitted the song but when I didn't hear the other shows playing the song, I knew something was up.

I cannot believe the Flagship Radio Station would air a song dissing Arian Foster.  For what it's worth, the song was cheesy.
