I thought John Lopez's help during the Houston Flood was solid. I thought it was bad ass of him to take his personal boat and rescue folks.
John Lopez didn't have to do what he did and I wouldn't have requested he do so.
Monday, in the first hour of In The Loop, Cody Stoots and John started talking about JJ Watt's flood contributions. JJ raised over $18 million dollars and brought in 10 Semi Trucks worth of supplies.
During that same segment, John made the comment that Duane Brown should be out there helping with JJ WATT. I didn't get upset but simply changed the dial. Its not John'd place to tell Duane to help. For all we know, Duane's home in Houston could have been damaged.
I am not taking anything away from John's flood efforts but it do not look good telling someone else what they should be doing.
To make matters worse, KRIV's Mark Bermann reported that Duane Brown was in Houston's Fifth Ward helping victims.
Duane, was helping and this why it looks bad to suggest someone should be helping. Everyone contributing in this cluster fuck is not as visible as JJ Watt. People are doing shit on their own without the glitz and glam but SR610 is riding the JJ Watt train all the way to the station.
John Lopez looked incredibly small trying to call out Duane Brown.
