IN THE BEGINNING, MR. GORE GAVE US THE INTERNET!

In the beginning, the gods created HMW to keep a watchful eye over those who have offended the gods.

In the beginning, the gods gave special allowances to those that were created with less than what the gods considered to be equal or the mendoza line equivalent of common sense attributes in a common man.

In the beginning, the gods set aside an abundance of examples of their benevolence to be disseminated among the faithful sports and entertainment fans that take up oxygen space in the city of Houston, Texas.

All that said, my faithful brethren, from the "beginning", the gods felt like they're tolerance for Mr. Preposterous trade proposal guy would be at a premium, because they NEVER GAVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR RIDICULOUS TRADE PROPOSALS!!

Houston sports fans, c'mon, give it a rest already? Here's a thought Houston sports fans: stop listening to the ridiculous commentary from some of the ridiculous guys that host these local sports talk shows. You know the guys, those that say anything they like without an ounce of credibility?

Ask yourself a question Mr. and Ms. Sports Fan guy, do you know who to blame for the misinformation that you're given that you in turn confidently blast out of your chops at the water cooler, as if I have first hand knowledge of it being factual?

Who do you blame because "you" had never heard of Kareem Jackson when he was drafted Mr. Football Fan guy? Or what about the anger you felt when the Texans passed on Vince Young and Reggie Bush in the 2006 NFL Draft and instead took this Mario Williams guy? Never mind the fact that Kareem Jackson was projected as first-round talent on most teams draft boards, and that "Mario Williams"  guy was projected as a Top 5 draft pick on most teams draft boards as well?

Who do you blame for your bitter emotions when The General, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, gets it wrong on an "opinion" that he shared on air, and you decided to run with it, as if John's subjective opinion was burned into football brimstone?

HERE'S A THOUGHT?

In the late 90's a certain Democrat named Al Gore reminded us that he created a sort of a big deal called "the internet". The cool thing about Mr. Gore's internet was that it included access to these really cool sports news media outlets such as ESPN, FOX SPORTS, CBS SPORTSLINE, & YAHOO SPORTS, just to name a few.

These online sports media outlets are really cool, I'm telling you folks! They have tons of detailed relevant sports information for your viewing and nice pix & video to boot! Now here is the real kicker, ITS ALL FREE!!! Unbelievable folks yeah?! FREE information just like the mostly inaccurate, uninformed, information you receive "free" on the radio, you can get for "free" on Mr. Gore's internet, how about that?!

DON'T BE A MIGHTY IDIOT folks, like the Mighty Dylan Gwinn who HMW will be releasing TWO blogs on Dylan Gwinn's style biting & phony antics Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

PRIME EXAMPLES OF "UNPROFESSIONALISM"!

HMW spends countless hours monitoring local and national sports talk radio shows and we have identified one of the most habitual offenders of constantly delivering misinformation right here in Houston. Dylan Gwinn of Sports Talk 790 (weekdays 10am - noon) is possibly the worst offender we've been able to identify.

Gwinn clearly puts a premium on "being correct" rather than "getting the facts correct". Quite often, we've observed callers to Gwinn's show correct Gwinn on one of his countless flubs or just flat out wrong statements and Gwinn, rather than receive the callers correction of his misinformation in a professional manner, Gwinn will talk over the caller as he mutes the caller's line and carries on steadily pushing his personal agenda of "being correct" but not "getting the facts out correctly".

In a recent week of monitoring Gwinn's show, we've observed an absence of well-known callers known to challenge Gwinn's ridiculous comments on the air. Don't worry folks, we have the technical capacity to monitor and record all shows on all stations and beginning tomorrow you will see examples of what we're able to produce from our monitoring of sports talk hosts.

THERE'S ROOM TO GO AROUND?

Barry Warner of Sports Radio 610 is another on-air host locally in Houston with questionable demeanor on air that appears to suffer from "I'm right and you're wrong" disease. Warner is rude and condescending with callers to S/R 610 and appears to take some type of level of reward in constantly making a story of his admitted past illegal drug use.

Warner typically calls young athletes out as idiots and knuckleheads, while exhibiting behavior on public radio that is instantly fireable in the real world that you and I live in. It's an amazing occurrence that guys like Barry Warner & Dylan Gwinn who are personalities with strong opinionated views, commonly are cowardly in they're approach with dealing with opposing personalities that they can't outwit or intimidate on the air.

Granted Dylan Gwinn doesn't posess the intelligence to outwit a frog, but nevertheless is constantly against the ropes when intelligence comes calling as the caller-on-hold.

FOLKS, PLEASE BE SURE AND FOLLOW THE ARTICLES PUBLISHED HERE ON THE HMW BLOG THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS REGARDING THE LOCAL PERSONALITES AND THEIR BEHAVIOR ON THE AIRWAVES!

PLEASE SHARE THE BLOGS WITH INTERESTED FRIENDS AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO CALL THESE HOSTS ON AIR AND VOICE YOUR THOUGHTS AFTER VIEWING THE BLOGS WE PUBLISH & TEST HOW YOU WILL BE RECEIVED BY SAID HOST?
