The Texans last two games, former Texans (Case Keenum and DJ Swearinger) made comments about Bill O'Brien.
Denver Bronco's Case Keenum said O'Brien told him he would be at best a Third String Quarterback. Washington Redskin's DJ Swearinger said O'Brien treated him unprofessional.
I am not a fan of Bill O'Brien but in both cases, I can totally see O'Brien acting the way described and I'm totally cool with it.
Although the Texans rescued Keenum from a deer blind, the dude was trash. As far as Swearinger, this dude was a walking "eff up". On the field, he was a collection of mental errors which lead to penalties, his dog bit Clowney, trouble behind his truck and lastly he revealed too much information. In Houston, Swearinger was "Can't Get Right" from the movie Life.
After Clowney got injured his rookie season, there was controversy about NRG's turf playing a part in it. While O'Brien recycled the same generic non information crap, Swearinger went on The Blitz with Fred Faour and AJ Hoffman and spilled the beans. Just so happens, Bill O'Brien was on air (same time) with Sports Radio 610 conducting his coaches show and saying the turf had nothing to do with Clowney's injury.

It's not a matter of right and wrong but two separate occasions, Seth has made the same comment. Seth believes it's possible that Keenum and Swearinger may have heard O'Brien wrong. From everything I've heard from Seth on both issues, he does not believe the situation went down the way the players are presenting it years. I get what Seth is saying, and I am not saying it's wrong but what do we have to go on to prove O'Brien wouldn't say anything like that?
After hearing some of the things Bill O'Brien has publicly said to the media, I believe that guy is capable of saying anything. Earlier this year, O'Brien said it was not his job to call a timeout. If Seth didn't know O'Brien and someone told him O'Brien said that, I'm guessing Seth would say "that was taken out of context".
I believe Seth may be looking at these situations with O'Brien as a negative when it's truly not locally. No one gives a flying crap about Keenum and Swearinger crying after the fact. Their stay in Houston was nothing to brag about and I doubt if any fans are pissed at O'Brien for hurting their feelings.
