There was a scene in the Sopranos, where a Mob Boss went to jail at his daughter's funeral. When the police handcuffed him, he started crying. The other Mob bosses in attendance looked at him like a little bitch.
That's exactly how I looked at Josh. After watching Josh go at MAD radio for months, only to see him, go "ratings smack", I was in disbelief. How can you talk all of this cash shit on-air but the minute you get face curl up and smack HI FIVE (side pat) after someone call your antics out.
Josh mentioned that MAD radio fell from a 4 share. Morning radio has not seen consistent 4 shares since the early days of Nick Wright and John Lopez after Marc Vandameer departed. That's when the ratings began trending down. By the time Nick left, the Morning Show was hovering around the 2s, I know because HMW poked fun at their numbers. When Mike and Seth took over the mornings, that slot was not in good condition by ratings standards.
I don't expect professionals to throw hands but I wasn't expecting explanations of why you thought they got the attorneys involved.
I know Josh's objective was to make them acknowledge him on air and he got it but it also makes him look small.
Seth had a point, Josh could have easily talked to them off the air but his whole goal has been to do it on-air.
A lot of people do not like Josh, but HMW is cool with him. Not because of the shit he do on air but Josh has kept it 100 on other shit. I cut for him and honestly do not mind the shit he does within reason but when someone call you out in person, be consisent.
